This is a juried show. Here are the criteria for acceptance. Only art and
craft works by Michigan artists, artisans and crafters will be
shown. The artist must reside in Michigan and all works must be
original creations. Works that evoke Michigan icons and traditions
will receive preference but all Michigan artists, artisans and
crafters are welcome
to apply.
Booth spaces are planned at 10'x10' with a 2' space between
booths. You may use these outside walls for display but, the walk
way must be clear. There is NO jury fee or application fee. Booth
space is $50.00 & $75.00 after the deadline of September 1. No
exceptions.
The Michigan Apple Festival is in its 3rd year.
It is hosted by The Country Mill in Charlotte
www.countrymill.com , a
map is on their site. This is a peak traffic period for them and the
festival will be heavily promoted throughout the region and the
state in all the media. The Michigan Apple Queen is expected be in
attendance and there will be demonstrations and activities all
weekend. We had television and radio last year and will again
this year.
One change this year - You have the option of showing
inside the Festival Building or outside in the Arts & Crafts area.
INDOOR SPACE IS LIMITED.
Vendors who would like to come early can set up on Friday,
September 19th between 2.00 p.m. & 5.00 p.m. The artists area is inside a large
building so weather is no problem. This building also contains
restroom and food facilities and is the drop off point for visitors
after their hayride so we expect plenty of traffic. The Arts Fest
facility is such that you may drive into it to unload and we have
Artists Parking directly outside the building for your convenience.
Hours 12-6 Saturday & 12-5 Sunday.
Please send two photos of your work or web address, booth
payment and your contact information. Be sure to
sign the registration form. If you are not accepted you will be
notified immediately and your deposit will be refunded so you can
make other plans. If you have a web site, let me know and I will
jury your work from your site content. For additional information
